What are Lutheran and Baptist?
The world is full of religions and sects such as Muslim, Hindu, Christ, etc. Today, we are going to talk about Christ’s religion Lutheran and Baptist. Both are the major Christianity of sub-sects. Both sects come under one major division of this religion called Protestant. They are the reformist’s sects because they raised voice against ill-practices of Church. Martin Luther is the person who stood up against the ill practices and corrupt system of the Catholic Churches. In the early 16th century and Lutheran are a follower of him Baptists are the sect that believes that the baptism is not for infants and it is an activity that is for the professing Christianity believers. Because of the Reform, both sects become. One is called Lutheran and Second Baptist.
Southern Baptists differ from Lutherans (among other things):
- In Church Liturgy (the form of worship).
- In Church Polity (the form of government).
- In Church Doctrine … especially in Eschatology (this simply means … the study of last things).
From where the Christ word was taken?
Christ word is taken the Greek word “χριστός (chrīstós)” and its means “anointed one”. This word is derived from the Greek verb “χρίω (chrī́ō)”which means “to anoint. In the Greek Septuagint, Christos was used to translating the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Mašíaḥ, messiah), meaning “[one who is] anointed”.
What is Lutheran?
The Lutheran Church is founded on the theology of Martin Luther during the 16th century. This makes up Lutheranism. It makes it one of the main branches of protestant Christianity. The name of his sect is based on Luther. He came up with Ninety five theses in 1517.

The dominant faction was of the Roman Catholic Church believer. He threw Martin Luther out of the church. Which resulted in Pro-Luther forming up the denomination named Church of Lutheran. Sprinkling water performs the Baptism by Lutherans, and it is nothing more than just the means of grace and the application. They believe that wine and bread are the body of God. They save the people falling into sin by the grace of God and Faith.
What is Baptist?
There were two groups in early Baptist life: the Particular Baptists and the General Baptists. One of the factions believes that Baptists are the branch of the radical movement Anabaptist which rose in the 16th country. On the other hand, the strong baptism followers are of the view that Baptist is since Jesus Christ’s era.
The First Baptist Church in America was established at Providence (in present-day Rhode Island) in 1638 by Roger Williams shortly after his banishment from the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
The Baptist is the sect of Christianity that is of the view that baptism (a sacred activity) is for the professing believers and not for just naming the infants. The Baptist Church can be traced back to 1609 with the initiatives of English Separatist.
